Dog adoption fees include spaying and neutering costs, initial vaccinations, a 7 day exchange and a free health examination at participating veterinary offices. License fees for adult dogs are required in addition to the adoption fees.

Cat adoption fees include spaying and neutering cost, initial vaccinations, a 7 day exchange and a free health examination at participating veterinary offices. License fees for cats are required in some cities and all county unincorporated areas and are not included in the above adoption fees.

All animals adopted from the six Los Angeles County Animal Care Centers are spayed or neutered before they can go home with their new family. 50 Animal Rescue Kingdom
Animal Rescue Kingdom (A.R.K.) is a no-kill rescue group that is dedicated to the rehabilitation and placement through adoption of stray and owner surrendered animals. All of the animals that we are helping have found their way into our hearts, but we know that they need to find good permanent homes of their own. All of our pets are spayed/neutered, up-to-date on all vaccinations, & on heartworm prevention. We are dedicated to helping our adoptable animals find good homes where they will be safe, well cared for and loved for the rest of their lives.   Courtney Brown
